Refund Policy

Effective: 4 September 2026  |  Republic of South Africa

We want you to be satisfied with your QuickSiteReady subscription. This policy explains when refunds apply, how to request one, and your rights as a consumer under South African law.

    Setup fee refund
Within 7 days if site not yet started
    Monthly subscription refund
    Pro-rated for service failure only
    Partial-month cancellation refund
    Not applicable
    Service credit for downtime
    Assessed per incident

    1. Monthly Subscriptions

Our subscription service is billed monthly in advance. Because work is initiated at the start of each billing period, we do not issue refunds for unused time within a billing period once the month has commenced.

To avoid being charged for a subsequent month, you must cancel before your renewal date. Cancellation requests must be sent to sales@quicksiteready.co.za.

    2. Setup Fees

Where a once-off setup fee applies, a full refund will be issued if:

    • You request cancellation within 7 days of payment, and
    • Work on your website has not yet commenced.

If site build work has already begun, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion, reflecting work completed to date.

    3. Service Failures and Downtime

If our service experiences extended, unplanned downtime directly attributable to QuickSiteReady, we will:

    • Acknowledge the issue and work to resolve it promptly.
    • Assess eligibility for a pro-rated service credit based on the duration and severity of the outage.

Service credits are applied to your next billing period and are not paid out as cash.

    4. How to Request a Refund

    Email sales@quicksiteready.co.za with:

    • Your full name and business name
    • Your subscription or invoice reference number
    • The reason for your refund request

We will acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 7 business days.

    5. Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act

Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA): South African consumers have rights that cannot be waived by contract. This policy works alongside — not in place of — your rights under the CPA.

Under the CPA, you have the right to:

    • Cancel a fixed-term agreement with 20 business days' written notice (where applicable).
    • Receive services that are of acceptable quality and fit for purpose.
    • A remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) if a service is defective or not delivered as agreed.

If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact the National Consumer Commission (NCC) at www.thencc.gov.za.

    6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed via Payfast. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 3–7 business days.
